Children’s Ministry

  • Children’s Ministry Parent Participation Policy

    Effective September 1, 2025

Our children’s ministry relies on volunteers and parent involvement to serve our nursery through 5th grade classes.

Families who have been a part of Christ the King Anglican Church for at least six months and have children enrolled in children’s ministry are required to participate in the rotating teaching / childcare schedule. Parents are asked to serve at least once every other month.

This shared responsibility helps us maintain a consistent and reliable class schedule and strengthen our ministry to the youngest members of our church.

    Service Opportunities:

    • Nursery: Newborn - 24 months.

    • Toddler Room: Ages 2-3

    • Children’s Church: Pre-K4 -2nd Grade

    • Education & Formation: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade or 3rd - 5th Grade.

  • Join us to learn about how to protect the children in our church as well as in our community! This training is mandatory for any new volunteers looking to serve in our Children’s Ministry Program.

Serving as an Acolyte is a wonderful way for children to get involved in our church services. Acolytes have the important role of helping with the lighting and extinguishing of candles and assisting in various other aspects of worship. It is a meaningful job that helps set a reverent tone for our services.
