colloquy ctk alexandria

The Colloquy's mission is to conduct uniquely worldview-focused lectures for women concerned with the biblical and theological implications of faith in Jesus Christ on their lives, vocations and the culture. Meeting 4-6 times per year, the Colloquy brings to the women of our community some of the most interesting authorities on culturally relevant topics and opinions. Our inaugural meeting was attended by 55 women who came to hear Dr Joshua Mitchell, Professor of Political Theory at Georgetown University, deliver a lecture on The Crisis in the Middle East: Why it Matters to American Christians. Our most recent gathering considered The Next 5 Billion: What to expect as the rest of the world comes online  with J. Scott Carpenter, Deputy Director of Google Ideas.
